And We're Back

We've gone way too long without posting, but we're back at it.  Here's what I've been feeling lately:

I've been extra girly these days wearing tights whenever I can, naturally I like to give them some edge by pairing them with Doc Martens.

This cat tag that B and I found in the bathroom of a dive bar on a recent trip to Minneapolis sums up how I've been feeling lately.

This summer was the season for DIYs for me, I made a lot of trips to the thrift store and found an amazing vintage Levi's jacket, which I made my own by adding an American flag to the back (not to worry, I didn't cut a real flag).  I also found this King Louis chair from a friends consignment shop which I re-finished with a touch of white paint and had re-upholstered with a Serape blanket.

Over The Weekend..

This weekend I went to celebrate my friends' graduation from college, and ended up stepping on glass and getting stitches in my foot.  It wasn't exactly the weekend I had in mind, but it was still entertaining.

Thanks to my girls Sarah and Sam for taking care of me at the hospital!
